What is Distant Reiki and how does it work?
Reiki is a form of healing that takes place when the client receives a gentle, hands-on form of treatment from a Reiki attuned therapist. It is believed that Reiki can affect the energy of the body of the person receiving the treatment in a positive way, which can have a profound effect upon their physiological and emotional well-being and we have proof that this does in fact happen as studies have been conducted that show measurable beneficial effects in clients receiving Reiki treatments.

Distant Reiki is a method of the Reiki healer projecting Reiki across distance and time to a recipient who cannot be with them for an in-person session or who would prefer to receive Reiki during an operation for example, or even an examination. Einstein would have referred to Distant Reiki as 'spooky action at a distance' and research into absent healing has shown some very positive results.

My own personal experience is based on thousands of hours of providing Reiki to people in person and at a distance and using my own method of collecting data and feedback which reassures me that whilst I may not (yet) be able to offer evidence using statistics and theories such as quantum physics, I can feel confident in saying that if you book a Distant Reiki session with me, the Reiki will reach you and help you.

You don't have to receive Reiki for healing purposes. You can receive a treatment to help you to get in touch with a more heart-based and resourceful way of life. Participating in a Reiki session can give you the opportunity to take your foot of the stress-pedal and open your mind to relaxation. As well as calming down the nervous system this will also help you to release stressful thoughts and relax the mind which can help you to open up to new possibilities for living a more joyful life. It can also help to strengthen bonds with other people around you; the more relaxed and calm you are, the more they'll meet you with the same energy. A company director I know applies the Reiki principles to his business and maintains a healthy company and staff community - navigating difficulties in a more philosophical way.
